- Luxury Retirement Community: We provide 4 Levels of living. Independent Living, Assisted Living, Extended Care and Memory Care.
- Who is your customer?
- Average age 85 years of age seeking easy living
- How did you come up with the idea for your business?
- Need Driven. Seniors are social creatures, want to have fun! Like to be pampered. We can provide that.....we are the fun easy place to live.
- How long have you been in business?
- So far, almost 7years.
- What's been your greatest moment so far? (i.e. Signing your first client, getting the big order, some great PR?)
- We have approximately 178 residents living at our Community. The greatest moment I would have to say is......since it is such a fun atmosphere...when, 2 of our residents find love again.....fall in love and Marry......that is exciting!!! It gives them a new adventure on life.
- What was your biggest mistake?
- Let's see..........this is not a big enough box........I am not perfect...and, I am learning new things all the time. I would have to say....is the ability to really listen to our residents. Sometimes, when we see residents...you really have to be still, stop and really listen to them. They want to be heard.
- What was your smartest move?
- I wouldn't call it the smartest move....but, really people are people. We are all 18 year olds inside our bodies. Our residents just want to be social, party and have fun! Happy Hour with wine, Live Entertainment, Dancing and lots of Bingo!!!!
- What are your business plans? (i.e. Expansion, franchising, selling for a gazillion dollars?)
- Would like to find a piece of property in South Orange County, about 2 -4 acres of flat land and build another Retirement Community.
- Are you a member of any OC-based associations, networking groups, etc?
- San Clemente Chamber of Commerce, South County Networking Senior Care Group, Women's Guild of Saddleback Memorial -San Clemente Campus, Niguel Shores Women's Club.
- Are you willing to answer questions about your business from other small business owners?

December has been super busy !!!
We have been super busy....... just this past weekend, we had 12 apartment suites on our Home Tour....residents loved touring their neighbors apartments, it was neat to see how other residents decorated their lovely home.
This past week, we have had every day visitors from Schools, Churches, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Choir Groups come and sing Holiday Carols for us. It's so warm and welcoming.

Getting ready for the Holidays
Our Residents love the Holidays around December. We put on some Holiday Music, drank Hot Cocoa and away we went decorating our Christmas Tree with our Santa Hat. What a fun day!

October 2009
3 Exciting things for October. October 1st, we hosted a San Clemente Chamber Mixer, it was a themed event "Oktoberfest". We had an Oompah Band, Bratwurst, Knockwurst, Hot Dogs and Micro brewed Honey Pale Ale Beer. We did the Polka and the Chicken Dance. We had about 200 people in attendance and it was a lot of fun! Second Event: We are getting ready to celebrate our 7th Anniversary. My how time flies. Our Third Event: Halloween. Our residents asked us to tone it down, not go crazy with skeletons… Continue

Residents are wonderful
We have been operating for 7 years in October. Our wonderful Retirement Community, currently of 178 residents.
It's wonderful meeting residents from all walks of life. Some serving important posts in U.S. Military History, some residents were Presidents of their own companies and were successful. Some just regular, down to earth, real people.

Senior Excursion - San Clemente Garden Tour - June 20, 2009
I had the pleasure of taking 8 of our residents out on a special outside excursion. We received tickets to the San Clemente Garden Tour on Saturday, June 20, 2009. It was delightful, as I hired a "Big Wood Tour Bus" to drive us in style to the 5 Gardens. The residents had a ball! It was like going on a family adventure, getting on the bus, joking, laughing, getting on and off the bus to preview the different gardens. We brought sandwiches, chips and drinks for the ride to nourish us and keep up… Continue
