- Business Communications Solutions, founded in 2001 in Irvine, California, is in the business of providing telecommunication solutions to businesses from small to large nationwide. While maintaining uncompromising principles, BCS is focused on providing the highest level of service and quality to our clients and partners. Because of our commitment to excellence, we have partnered with the leaders in the industry in order to ensure the highest level of service to our clients.
In addition to our great partners we have aligned ourselves with some of best and talented individuals in the industry. With combined experience of over 60 years we have the knowledge to manage a project from inception to completion.

Business Communications Solutions provides a complete suite of total end-to-end communication solutions for your business. We are committed to a solutions based approach where we provide a customized set of services to fit the needs of each business customer. These include a wide array of voice and data services from industry leading carrier such as AT&T, Cox Business Services, TelePacific Communications, PaeTech, Airespring, and Access One.
- Who is your customer?
- Any business with 5 or more employees. Our target market is small to medium sized businesses.
- How did you come up with the idea for your business?
- We had previously worked for another telecommunication company. Since it was such a small company, we had learned how to do every job in every department. We really enjoyed the industry but at the same time saw some things that were done that we didn't like, which is what inspired us to start our own telecommunication business.
- How long have you been in business?
- Since 2004
- What's been your greatest moment so far? (i.e. Signing your first client, getting the big order, some great PR?)
- Being an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur or the Year Semi-Finalist.
- What was your biggest mistake?
- Our biggest mistake is hiring bad employees. It's difficult to pick out who will be a bad employee in the early stages, but we think when we first started the business, we may have been too lenient and understanding with some of the employees. So many people take advantage of kindness or they get too comfortable if they work in a more relaxed work environment, and that's when you see their true colors.
- What was your smartest move?
- As much as we've learned from making bad hiring moves, we're extremely thankful for the good employees that we've hired. It's vital to have employees that you can trust and who care about the company beyond what is in their job description. It's a great feeling when you can take a vacation and not have to worry about your business because you know it's in good hands.
- What are your business plans? (i.e. Expansion, franchising, selling for a gazillion dollars?)
- Expansion.
- Are you a member of any OC-based associations, networking groups, etc?
- Yes, Sunny is part of NAWBO-OC (National Association of Woman Business Owners)
- Are you willing to answer questions about your business from other small business owners?
- Yes
