Who is your customer?

New or established small businesses or organizations of all type. Not big corporations or franchises.

How did you come up with the idea for your business?

I've always been an artist at heart. An observer. A storyteller. Working in the graphic arts and printing industry, I met more and more small business owners that had a great story to tell. The problem was, their marketing material didn't accurately represent the quality of their products, services or what they work so hard to achieve. I wanted to help tell their story through visual design and the use of custom quality printing.

How long have you been in business?

Since February of 2008.

What's been your greatest moment so far? (i.e. Signing your first client, getting the big order, some great PR?)

I was very honored to be featured as an Entrepreneur in the August issue of OC Metro Business magazine. Thanks OC Metro!

What was your biggest mistake?

At first I thought it was a big mistake that I didn't have much Sales experience coming into this, but now I see that nobody likes to be SOLD to anyway, so it actually works in my favor. I love helping my clients and I've been told that people see that and appreciate it more than anything.

What was your smartest move?

Following my passion for art and design. I love what I do.

What are your business plans? (i.e. Expansion, franchising, selling for a gazillion dollars?)

Slow and steady growth. I think we'll always be relatively small compared to the big agencies out there. That's why we named the company "Studios" since we plan to have multiple studios to be closer to our clients in different areas. I never want my clients to feel that we're too busy for them or they're less important than the next client.
