ANDERSON USES HIS EXPERTISE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

JULY 3, 2009: As busy as Steve Anderson is, he lends his expertise to many charitable organizations. Most recently, Steve collaborated with the RISARC Foundation to photograph their 5th Annual Caribbean Classic Golf Invitational where the first time ever, MuayThai meets Golf Celebrity/Pro event. The tournament generated charitable proceeds that made a significant impact on young students; proceeds were used to furnish numerous primary schools with new Dell computers and printers. The RISARC Foundation wanted Steve to take his expertise in environmental portraiture and using his artistic interpretation to create a story of the five day event in Jamaica.

An accomplished commercial photographer, the focus of Steve's work is shooting people, personalities and celebrities for advertising campaigns, books, and magazines. Pioneering the niche of Environmental Portraiture, Steve has shot campaigns for Yamaha Music, LA Fitness, Jenny Craig, and Intel among others, and was recently invited to join the exclusive source book AtEdge. Steve is represented by Daniele Forsythe Photographers out of New York City.

The RISARC Foundation is a philanthropic organization that provides resources and programs for economically challenged communities in the United States and abroad. Founded by Richard Stephenson, CEO of RISARC, LLC, the foundation works with its international branch, CCGI Foundation, to hold the fundraisers that benefit education, leadership, and the building of stronger communities.
